Mailing List

If you sign up to the mailing list, your email address will be stored so we can send you John’s newsletter. We will never use this data for any other purposes and will not provide it to any other organisations.

The data we hold on you is hosted on our website by 1&1, and is sent via WordPress SMTP servers. Both are GDPR compliant.

If at any point you wish to withdraw your consent, you can press the unsubscribe button at the bottom of every newsletter, or email info@johnkay.com from the address you want taken off our list specifying that you do not want to subscribe any longer. If you do so, you will no longer receive the newsletter and we will delete your email address from our list.

We will keep your information until:

  • You unsubscribe
  • You fail to confirm that you wish to be on the mailing list after signing up
  • The emails we send you bounce

In all of these cases, we will delete your email address from our list.

The General Data Protection Regulation gives you the right to access the data we hold on you. If you wish to do so, email info@johnkay.com from the email address you signed up with and we will send it to you.

Contact Form

We do not store any information from the contact form on our website. When you use the contact form, we receive an email which we may store until your message is taken care of, and possibly afterwards for reference. As with the mailing list, if you wish to know what data we hold on you, or want that data to be deleted, email info@johnkay.com and we will comply with your request.

All comments are subject to moderation by the website administrators. Any comments considered to be spam will be deleted, along with all identifying information. All comments which are approved are hosted on the website’s servers, along with the name, email address and website provided by commenters.

If you wish to remove a comment you have posted, remove your data from our servers, or access a copy of the information we hold on you, email info@johnkay.com with your request from the email you provided when you commented.
