Paradigm Lost: Rethinking Economics and Politics

The Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET), hosted its third annual conference in Berlin from April 12th to 15th. The conference, entitled ‘Paradigm Lost: Rethinking Economics and Politics,’ included scholars, students, journalists and policy makers, and covered topics from the future of economic theory to the future of Europe. There were many distinguished attendees, most notable of which were George Soros, Amartya Sen, Joseph Stiglitz and of course, John Kay who spoke on the third day about ‘creating a socially useful financial system’. All of the talks can be viewed on the INET website, and you can watch John’s here.
